Join Adult Choir for 2026/27 Season

Days and times:

Sundays - 3:15pm to 4:15pm w/ teacher Anya & our Director of Music - Laura Hasthorpe BA

We follow the school year September to June, and will have scheduled weekends and holiday closures as normal. Full year is approx. 36 weeks from when you join, several performance opportunities in the community. We have Choir summer school as an optional add on in July and August. Half term and trials.

* Inhouse - We offer a discount for families that have students or siblings currently in our other programs, we find that choir and musicianship practice excellerates musical learning and friendships!

Full Year  - $725.00 - ($675)*
Half Term - $362.50 - ($332.50)*
4 Week Trial - $99 - for all students that are new

All levels are welcome to this Choir, no musical singing or reading skills required. We are looking for community, bringing singing and an open accepting space for practise.

Anja Kelly (she/her) is a soprano and music educator based in Vancouver, holding a B.Mus in Voice Performance from UBC. She teaches Voice lessons to students of all ages and experience in Classical, Pop and Musical Theatre styles, and she conducts numerous Elementary school choirs across Metro Vancouver. Anja is a member of musica intima, Vanix Trio, Intertidal Choral Ensemble and an occasional hire for the Vancouver Chamber Choir. She is also currently involved in Turning Point Ensemble’s Defining Voices project, designed to create new works for solo voice and chamber orchestra. 

At the core of both Anja’s performance and teaching practices is that music is a vessel for profound storytelling, and is at its best when born out of community. Whether she is teaching Voice lessons or Choir, she encourages her students to make music that sparks joy and creativity, while building strong musical and technical foundations. Everyone has a voice worth sharing and Anja creates a safe space to use it.
