Sarah P - Colourstrings Music & Movement, Speech Art, Theatre & Opera

Sarah is an accomplished performer, director and educator with extensive experience in theatre and opera.

As a mother of a feisty, musical three year old, she is especially passionate about sparking a love for music in little ones.

Sarah has been professionally active in the performing arts since 2009. As a performer, she originated the role of Jane Doe in the hit musical Ride the Cyclone, co-founded the award-winning company SNAFU Society of Unexpected Spectacles and sang in countless settings, including as a soloist in Handel’s Messiah and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and chorister with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.

In 2013, she began working offstage as a director and educator, and has directed and taught across North America at Vancouver, Edmonton, and Manitoba Opera, Opera on the Avalon, Opera Kelowna, Wolf Trap and the New England Conservatory.

She loves helping students feel confidence in their creativity, their bodies and their voices. Let’s find our songs together!
